Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I book a class?

Booking your class is quick and easy.

Simply use the link in our bio or visit our website to access our booking system. From there, you can create an account, purchase a membership or class package, and reserve your space.

As our classes are intentionally kept small to provide a more personalised experience, we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

If your plans change, we kindly ask that you cancel your booking as early as possible so another client can enjoy the space.

  • Do I need Pilates experience to join?

Not at all. Studio Seven welcomes everyone, from complete beginners to experienced movers. Our small class sizes allow our instructors to provide personalised guidance, helping you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

Whether it's your first class or your hundredth, we'll offer options, modifications and progressions to suit your individual level.

  • What do I need to bring to class?

Grip socks are required for all reformer classes.

If you don't have a pair, don't worry – grip socks are available to purchase at the studio.

We also recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated, although refreshments will be available to purchase.

Wear comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely and feel your best.

  • When do I move from beginner to intermediate?

Everyone's Pilates journey is different, so there's no set timeline.

Once you feel comfortable using the reformer, confident with the foundational movements, and ready for a little more challenge, you may be ready to progress to our intermediate classes.

As a general guide, many clients feel prepared after attending around 4–6 beginner classes, but there's absolutely no pressure to move up. Our instructors are always on hand to help you decide which class is the best fit for your experience and goals.

The most important thing is that you feel confident, supported and ready to take the next step at your own pace.

  • What is your membership commitment?

Our memberships have a minimum commitment period of 3 months from the date of purchase.

After the initial 3-month period, memberships continue on a rolling monthly basis and can be cancelled at any time with 30 days' written notice.

We kindly ask that any cancellation requests are submitted via email. Your membership will remain active throughout the 30-day notice period, allowing you to continue enjoying your classes as normal.

  • What is your cancellation and no-show policy?

If you're unable to attend a class, we kindly ask that you cancel at least 12 hours before the start time. Classes cancelled within this timeframe will be returned to your account as a class credit.

Late cancellations and no-shows will result in the session being forfeited.

Membership holders: A no-show fee may also apply.

Class pack holders: The class credit will be deducted from your package.

This policy helps us offer spaces to clients on our waitlist and ensures classes run smoothly for everyone.

  • Where can I park?

There are several convenient parking options just a short walk from Studio Seven:

    • Wood Street Car Park, located next door to the studio
    • Cable Street Car Park
    • Upper St Leonard's Gate Car Park

If you're unsure where to park, feel free to get in touch before your class and we'll be happy to help.
